There was once a jewelry brand that King Edward VII of England called "Jeweler to Kings, King of Jewelers." That brand is well known to all: Cartier. Founded in Paris in 1847, the brand remained family-run until 1964, producing jewelry and watches from three boutiques in Paris, London, and New York. Most of their jewelry was made to order, setting them apart from the mass-produced pieces of today.
This Art Deco-style watch is one of them, equipped with LeCoultre's ultra-compact Duoplan movement.
